Aluminum Creeper build | 1st spoolgun with 210mp
Переглядів 4,1 тис.3 роки тому
Building an aluminum creeper for personal use. I started using my TIG but switched over to MIG with the spoolgun. I hadnt had much opportunity to use the 210MP with the spoolgun so this was a good project. All in all Im pretty happy with the results. One thing I would consider is a headrest. It did turn out nice and low-profile, the casters are big enough to roll over cords and its relatively l...

Rusted to Primed | 1947 ford pickup (pt 34)
Переглядів 5 тис.3 роки тому
Building a 1947 ford hot rod with a nice interior. Another episode spent working inside the cab. After rough mock-up of the wiring kits, dash components and AC it was time to blow it all apart and do the coatings! I take it from bare metal to POR15 to seam sealer and finally primer coated in this episode. The episode was edited down from hours and hours of footage that was filmed over a couple ...
DIY Light post and amazon UFO light

DIY streetlights to light the areas around a few buildings. I used second-use 2 3/8" well pipe and 2 7/8" well pipe for these light posts. Its available by me (CA) for between $2 and $3 per foot. I have heard that closer to the oil fields it drops below $1 per foot. Its a great material to use for this purpose when coupled with the "UFO" style lights on amazon. I've run these posts as high as 2...
Large Rain Curtain Water Feature Build

I recently had the chance to do a project for a customer's backyard/garden area. They wanted to improve the area with some natural water sounds as well as break up the large stucco wall. I was given a packet of pictures and a rough size that they wanted it to fill, the finer details were up to me. In researching the project I came across Doug's build (here: ua-cam.com/video/ir3odbP7Ejc/v-deo.ht...

I had to rebuild a trailer frame with thicker material for a cool DIY portajohn project. It was a simple trailer design that needed to accommodate a RV style blackwater tank and a tiny wood building. The portapotty has a nice vanity, mirror and RV style toilet. It will use 120v shore power to run the on-demand water heater as well as the fan and lights. Vinyl flooring and a nice door are also i...

2 free totes, some pipe and a bunch of concrete rubble. Thats what it took to put in this cheap, DIY septic system. This is a proven design and is identical to the system that I have been running at my cabin for nearly 4 years now with great success. I tried to cover some more of the details in this video. A standard tank is always your best bet BUT if its not feasible then this is a great opti...

NAPTHA actually has one of the slowest evaporation rates. Part of what makes it most handy for removing old adhesives. More time to soak in and penetrate before drying out. Also why commonly used as lighter fluid. Generally safe on painted surfaces.

How much is the adjustment gap on the spark plug ? Can you please let me know what kind of adjustments you did to the carburetor. We just bought the CNG regulator and the generator doesn't stay running at all . Sounds like is starving for fuel. We have a 13000EH model.

When pouring your paint can use a wide piece of tape half way around the can and half way up. Makes it easier to pour and less mess. Also tap a small hole in the outer rim of the can and the material will flow back into the can.
